Biscotti Apple Crumble



  • 7 Granny Smith apples, peeled and cored
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp flour


  • 1 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 15 Vero Amore Biscotti, roughly chopped

optional: Vanilla ice cream to serve with



  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Chop the apples into bite sized squares
  3. In a very large bowl, combine the chopped apples with the lemon juice, water, white sugar, cinnamon and flour. Stir to combine
  4.  For the topping, in a separate bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, salt, baking powder, and melted butter. Mix with your hands until everything is incorporated. Add the chopped biscotti and mix everything together
  5. Transfer the apples to a baking dish and top with biscotti crumble mixture
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45-50 minutes
  7. Remove foil and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes for a golden crust
  8. Top with ice cream to serve and gustare!
